Five animals died in a fire at a pet grooming shop in Springfield Township near Akron late Tuesday night.
Arlington Pet Care on South Arlington Street was ablaze just after 9 p.m.
The building was a total loss.
Fire officials said no one was inside at the time of the fire, but two dogs, two baby chicks and a cat died.
There was no immediate word on what caused the fire.

Both Green and Springfield fire departments were called out.
South Arlington was closed from Killian to the Walmart store but should be reopened Wednesday morning.
