CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - When Toronto beat Miami in Game 7 of their series Raptors fans were chanting "We want Cleveland!" You were saying?
LeBron, Love and Kyrie combined for 28 first-quarter points and this thing was over before halftime. Did they hit 3-pointers? Seven of them. Not bad, but not the onslaught they unleashed on the Hawks. This time they just attacked the rim, outscoring them 56-36 in the paint. The Cavs shot 55 percent from the floor, LeBron was 11 of 13 from the floor. 11 of 13! It made Kyrie look like a slouch for needing 17 shots to sink 11.
I loved how we barely heard Kyle Lowry's name. 4 of 14 from the floor, 0-7 from downtown, he finished with eight points. He was useless.
My favorite part was how they never let up and never ran out of gas. Remember the opener against Atlanta? They got out to the big lead only to have the Hawks get back into it. The Cavs felt they let that lead go because they got tired, they hadn't played in a week. Tyronn Lue beat them to death with conditioning this time and it seemed to pay off. They didn't let up. They didn't get tired. They didn't let the Raptors off the mat.
One down, three to go against Toronto. I don't think they'll need four more games to finish them off. See you on Thursday night, Raptors.
