WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - The man police say killed three people at the Chalk Linez barbershop in Warrensville Heights last year was arraigned Thursday on a new charge of getting someone to kill a witness.

Douglas Shine, who has a lengthy criminal record, plead not guilty in court.

Shine faces the death penalty if convicted of the Feb. 5th, 2015 triple shooting.

Walter Lee Barfield, 23, William Gonzalez, 32, and Brandon White, 31, were killed and three others were injured when Shine walked into the barber shop and opened fire. Gonzalez was the owner of the barber shop.

That indictment also covered a January 20th, 2015 attack on Angelus Avenue in Cleveland where another victim was shot 13 times.

Shine's trial is scheduled to begin on September 7.
