CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - One man was killed in a house fire Monday. Two others were hurt and transported to the hospital.
Crews were called to the home at 9012 Kempton Avenue around midnight.
Three adults and one teen were inside the home. Two adults jumped from the second floor. They are being treated at University Hospitals. The teen boy also managed to escape.
The third adult was found in the front hallway. Firefighters pulled him from the home and started CPR. EMS then took him to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The man's identity has not been released.
The fire started in the kitchen, but the cause remains under investigation.
