$1M bond for two arrested in death of Glenville teen

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A judge set bond at $1M for two arrested in the death of Glenville teen, Diamond Russell.

Russell, 18, was shot and killed Wednesday, May 18 at a Shell gas station on the corner of Superior and Euclid Avenues  in East Cleveland.

The football star was supposed to graduate from Ted Ginn Academy on Sunday, May 22 and go on to play football at Garden City Community College in Kansas.

On Friday, May 20, Cleveland Police apprehended two suspects in connection with the fatal shooting.

Dontez Long and Alonzo Patterson were arrested in the area of East 90th and Hough Avenue.

Police have not determined a motive in the shooting.
