CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A man was indicted for an attack on a RTA bus driver.
A Cuyahoga County Jury indicted Cleveland Scott, 48, for felonious assault and kidnapping for the May 18 attack.
According to police reports, the bus driver was outside his bus when Scott approached him from behind. The report stated the driver turned around to ask Scott what he was looking for and Scott did not respond. That's when the attack happened, police said.
Surveillance video from the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Transit Center shows the man repeatedly punching and kicking the driver.
RTA officers got a description of the attacker from witnesses. Scott was arrested about a half hour later when officers spotted him, trespassing on RTA rail yard near East 37th Street, police said.
