The Indians are heading into a home stretch at Progressive Field with the Baltimore Orioles. They're now only a half-game behind the White Sox in the AL Central.
And the Cavs looking for a big win tonight over Toronto, hoping for another trip to the NBA Finals.
We asked some Cavs fans at a local diner how they're preparing for tonight's game. Stevie Desmond says he's been watching the Cavs all season with his 80-year-old mom, who is an avid fan. He's predicting a win.
"Cleveland well deserves this. We are so way overdue, so overdue for this with all of our teams and everything. I think the Cavs are going to take us there."
Another Cavs fan was mapping out his plans for watching the game tonight with friends, imagining what a victory would be like.
"I'm probably going to lose it. I think it's definitely time for Cleveland to have a big win," said Vince Parker.
Thousands of fans will be heading downtown Friday night for the Cavs Watch Party at the Q. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 and you can buy them online or at the box office.
Across Gateway Plaza, at Progressive Field, you can watch the Indians take on the Orioles. The game starts at 7:10 p.m. and it's $1 hot dog night.
