Warrant issued for uncle of 7-year-old Sandusky shooting victim

SANDUSKY, OH (WOIO) - Sandusky Police have issued an arrest warrant for Ervin Clinton, Jr.

Clinton Jr. is being charged with felony child endangering for his alleged involvement in accidentally shooting Jordy Clinton Jr.

The 7-year-old boy was shot in the neck Sunday at a home on Center St.

Clinton Jr., Jordy's uncle, called 911 and stated the boy shot himself.

Jordy, meantime, remains in critical condition at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital.

Neighbors said there were several adults in the home when the shooting happened.

Police have not said where the child got the gun from or who owns it.

So far no official charges have been filed.
