AKRON, OH (WOIO) - Akron police say the suspect in a fatal Memorial Day Weekend shooting should be considered armed and dangerous.
A 23-year-old man was shot multiple times near East Waterloo Road and South Arlington Street after an altercation Monday night, according to authorities. He later died at the Akron City Hospital.
An aggravated murder warrant was issued for the suspect, Fred Taylor Jr., 18, of Beechwood Drive in Akron. Police said Taylor is a black male with a thin mustache and light beard. They said he's 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 162 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt.
Those with information on his whereabouts should contact Akron police.
The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office will conduct the autopsy.
