Man killed in hit-and-skip in Stark County, still no ID

STARK COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - The Stark County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man was killed in a hit-and-skip on Tuesday night.

Police responded to a call around 9:57 p.m. of a man lying in the roadway at U.S. 62 and Middlebranch. When deputies arrived, they found that the man had been hit by a car and was unresponsive.

According to police, the victim who has not been identified, was trying to cross the highway when he was hit. He is described as a white male, 5'9", 150 lbs. in his 50's or 60's. They also believe he may live in the area.

Police are looking for a possible 2011-2012 Hyundai Sonata with damage to the passenger side mirror and possible damage to the front and passenger side of the car. Police are unsure of the car's color.
