PLAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) - GlenOak High School in Plain Township was put on lockdown Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. after threats were found written on the walls in several restrooms. The lockdown was lifted shortly before 11:30 a.m.
A student was arrested for inducing panic, aggravated menacing and criminal damaging in connection with the threat. The student will be booked at the Multi-County Juvenile Attention System.
Parents at the Stark County school were alerted to the situation via a robo call on Friday morning.
The message said the school is working with local law enforcement and that the children were safe throughout the incident.
