ASHLAND COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

Possible serial killer Shawn Grate spoke from the Ashland County Jail Friday and he opened up about himself and his victims.

During the interview Grate, 40, confessed to all five murders and said that he was not happy with the not guilty plea entered on his behalf because, "I admitted it."

He offered the following as a statement to the victims and their families. Editor's note: The following is from a Q&A interview with Cleveland 19's Cassie Nist. It is not verbatim.

19: Is there any statement you would like to release to the public or to the victim's families ... the loved ones that are missing the victims?

Grate:

I'd like to ask those who know me to forgive me and the victim's families ... the loved ones that are missing the victims.
