Tickets for ALCS Indians home games sell out within 20 minutes

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Tickets for American League Championship home games went on sale Tuesday morning at 10 a.m., with all of the available seats sold out by 10:20.

The Cleveland Indians won the division series against the Boston Red Sox 3-0. They will play the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALCS.

A very limited number of tickets for ALCS games were available online starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Tickets for Games 1 and 2, as well as a possible 6 and 7, sold out within 20 minutes.

Any payments from unplayed games will be refunded, though ticket fees are nonrefundable.

The ALCS schedule is below:

  • Game 1 (at Cleveland): Friday, Oct. 14, 8:08 p.m.
  • Game 2 (at CLE): Saturday, Oct. 15, late afternoon (exact time not yet announced)
  • Game 3 (at Toronto): Monday, Oct. 17
  • Game 4 (at Toronto): Tuesday, Oct. 18
  • Game 5 (at Toronto): Wednesday, Oct. 19
  • Game 6 (at CLE): Friday, Oct. 21
  • Game 7 (at CLE): Saturday, Oct. 22

Assistant director of communications for the Indians Joel Hammond says that fans can get priority access to tickets for any potential World Series games by purchasing 2017 season tickets.
