Spectators injured when motorcycle stunt goes wrong

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Three people were injured Saturday during a motorcycle stunt show.

It happened in Berea in City Lot 2.

Police say stunt rider Shane Croxton was traveling towards the crowd, as he normally does, when he lost control nearing the turn.

Croxton said his clutch stuck, causing him to accelerate into moveable metal barriers.

The barriers were then pushed into a crowd of people

Three fans were hurt. Two of them were transported to nearby hospitals with non life-threatening injuries. The condition of the third victim is not known.

The crash remains under investigation.

So far, no charges have been filed.
