DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The RTA is promising that Indians fans will be able to get home using the Blue, Green and Red lines up to 60 minutes after the end of the game, even if it goes into extra innings.

The transit authority says it is beefing up its service headed into and out of downtown this Friday and Saturday for the games, which also coincide with the two opening games of the Calder Cup champion Monsters' season at the Quicken Loans Arena.

Round-trip tickets will be available from RTA staff for $5 at major stations, helping to cut down on boarding time when coming back from the game. They are also encouraging people to take advantage of the free parking offered at many Rapid stations.

The Walkway from Tower City will open four hours before first pitch each day: at 4 p.m. on Friday for the 8:08 p.m. game and at noon on Saturday for the 4:08 p.m. game.
