CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Alyeshia Walker was indicted Friday morning on various charges from incidents that happened from August to October 2015 while an employee with Cleveland Public Power.
Walker is accused of taking a bribe to shut down an overdue customer's account. She is also accused of stealing between $1,000 and $7,500 in property or services while employed by the city.
She was charged with bribery, tampering with records and theft in office.
The indictment says she solicited or accepted briibes while serving as a public official, and that she knew she had committed fraud and tampered with public records.
