BROOKLYN, OH (WOIO) - When police got to the car, a 112 pound Mastiff and a 2-year-old boy were in direct sunlight and the child's face was turning red while sitting in a parking lot.
The dog appeared to be aggressive, officers said, but the child was not hurt by the dog. An ambulance treated the child at the scene.
Lauren Bork, 28, was arrested and charged with child endangerment after police said she left the child and the dog in a car Wednesday afternoon while she went shopping at TJ Maxx on Ridge Road.
Bork was not charged for leaving the dog in the car.
