They aren't blood brothers -- Curt Schilling made that perfectly clear with his tweet about Trevor Bauer during the American League Championship Series.
Schilling pitched Game 6 of the ALCS in 2004 for the Boston Red Socks with an injured ankle which resulted in a blood-soaked sock during his time on the mound.
Trevor Bauer was originally slated to start Game 2 of the ALCS against the Toronto Blue Jays but was pushed to Game 3 because of a drone-related injury. His little finger on his pitching hand was cut and received 10 stitches only to open up and bleed halfway through the first inning Oct. 17.
