Was it wrong for Toronto fans to cheer when Bauer left Game 3?

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Some Toronto fans cheered last night when Indians pitcher Trevor Bauer was forced to leave the field due to an injured pinky, a reaction which has rubbed a lot of Cleveland fans the wrong way.

Still, other people defended their reaction, saying that it makes sense that they would want to see a good player from the opposing team go out early.

Bauer joked about the injury on social media and in the stands, gesturing "3-0" with his hands to fans after the team won the game.

The Indians are up 3-0 in the series. They will play Game 4 in Toronto Tuesday night.
