GRAFTON, OH (WOIO) - Police in Grafton have identified the two badly decomposed bodies found while conducting a welfare check at a truck repair shop on Barchard St. on Sunday as 28-year-old Jessica Poling and 30-year-old Nicholas Friedl, a registered sex offender in Ohio.
An officer found the bodies shortly after 5 p.m. Police said the deaths appear suspicious, and a firearm was also found at the scene.
Records show that Friedl, who lived in Lagrange, was convicted in Sept. of 2008 of unlawful sexual contact with a minor. He has also been arrested for possession of cocaine, drug paraphernalia possession and robbery.
Poling, who lived in Grafton, was found guilty of marijuana possession and endangering children in 2009 and has been arrested for OVI twice: once in 2014 and once in 2015.
The investigation is ongoing.
