Tickets for World Series home games sold out in 12 minutes

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

A very limited number of tickets for World Series home games went on sale to the public Thursday at 10 a.m., the Indians announced Wednesday.

The team clinched its first World Series berth since 1997 with a 3-0 win over the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 5 on Wednesday.

Tickets sold out in 12 minutes. 

The World Series schedule is below: 

Game 1 (at Cleveland): Tuesday, Oct. 25
Game 2 (at CLE): Wednesday, Oct. 26
Game 3 (at Chicago/Los Angeles): Friday, Oct. 28
Game 4 (at Chicago/Los Angeles): Saturday, Oct. 29
Game 5 (at Chicago/Los Angeles): Sunday, Oct. 30
Game 6 (at CLE): Tuesday, Nov. 1
Game 7 (at CLE): Wednesday, Nov. 2

Any payments from unplayed games will be refunded, but ticket fees are non-refundable.
