Man accused of breaking into nearly a dozen businesses arrested

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Detectives have arrested Paul A. Barna, 33, of Robindale Avenue in Akron for multiple counts of breaking and entering.  

The break-ins started on Sept. 29, 2016 and the most recent was on Oct. 17, 2016, according to police. Barna would disable the alarms to several businesses, enter the property and remove cash and coins from vending machines, game machines and cash registers.

Barna may also be responsible for four additional break-ins in Springfield Township.

The business that were hit were: Tiny’s Bar and Grille, 1199 Triplett Blvd.; PDQ Car Wash, 772 S. Canton Rd.; Family Mini Mart, 3105 Mogadore Rd; The Brooklands Bar, 371 The Brooklands; twice at Christy’s Place, 561 S. Seiberling St.; Jen’s Den, 1335 Brittain Rd.; Windsor Pub, 1322 E. Tallmadge Ave; and Spock’s Lounge, 2012 S. Main St.   

Barna remains locked up in the Summit County jail.
