CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Want to repay Ryan Merritt for somehow being the starting pitcher in an ALCS-clinching game with only 11 innings of MLB experience under his belt? Buy him something off his wedding registry.
Merritt will get married to Sarah Brushaber, who works at Heartlight Campus Ministries, in January of 2017. The two are registered at Target and Pottery Barn, according to TheKnot.com.
So, if you're a Cleveland fan who wants to congratulate the team for earning their first trip to the World Series since 1997, consider dropping $20 to get Merritt some towels. He deserves it.
