A few area theaters are showing 'Major League' for $1 next week

Capitol Theatre, Cedar Lee Theatre, and Chagrin Cinemas will be showing Major League on Monday.

The showtime at all three theaters will be 7:30 p.m. The cost of admission is $1.

The movie has become intertwined with Cleveland sports legend, featuring some of "the wildest gang of screwballs that ever spit tobacco," as phrased by the Cleveland Cinemas website.

The screenings will take place one day before Game 1 of the World Series, which is slated for Tuesday night in Cleveland (the same night the Cavs start their season at home).
