DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The Cleveland Indians last won a World Series in 1948.
According to the New York Daily News, the last living member of that team, Eddie Robinson, isn't very pleased with the club. The report says Robinson is disappointed the organization hasn't reached out, figuring they'd want to talk to anyone involved with that '48 championship team.
Robinson had 83 RBIs for the 1948 Indians, according to Baseball-Reference.com.
The Indians are in the World Series for the first time since 1997. Game 1 will be played Tuesday in Cleveland, either against the Los Angeles Dodgers or Chicago Cubs.
