CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The new NBA World Championship 10-Story Nike/LeBron banner is finally up at Sherwin-Williams Global HQ in downtown Cleveland.
After the old one was taken down, the installation and unveiling of the new banner was pushed back a day, due to the weather.
The new banner celebrates the Cavs' 2016 championship win.
The banner continues to give off its positive aura of good luck for the city. Here's what's happened since it went up in 2014:
1. The Cavs make a historic comeback after being down 3-1 to win the championship.
2. The Cleveland Monsters won their hockey championship with the banner in place.
3. Cleveland's own, UFC heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic, brought the city an individual world championship in May and led the Cleveland Cavaliers championship parade. Miocic is No. 1 in the USA TODAY Sports/MMA heavyweight rankings.
4. And now the Indians win a division title, league championship and are in the hunt for the World Series title against Chicago.
