Three arrested after kidnapping, no injuries

ROCKY RIVER, OH (WOIO) -

Rocky River police took a call Sunday morning reporting a kidnapping on Detroit Rd. near Linda St.

Within ten minutes, three arrests were made and the victim was free, unharmed.

According to the police report the caller said that a man armed with a handgun ordered his girlfriend into a car on Detroit Rd. The caller also gave a description of the car, the driver and front seat passenger, the suspect and the victim.

A car matching the description was seen by police within minutes of the call.

Police arrested Theodore F. Turay, 30, of Parma, John W. Mann, 64, Parma Hts. and Regina M. Capobianco, 48, also from Parma Hts. Police also recovered a handgun and other contraband, including illegal drugs.

The victim, a 26-year-old Cleveland woman, was determined to be safe.

A court date for the three has not been set.
