Cops bust man who allegedly robbed the same bank twice

ELYRIA, OH (WOIO) - A 26-year-old man was arrested Monday after he allegedly robbed the same bank in Elyria twice, police said.

Police arrested Aaron A. Kudlo for reportedly robbing the First Merit Bank located at 565 S. Abbe Rd. on Friday Oct. 21 and again today, according to Elyria police Capt. Chris Costantino.

The first time Kudlo was able to get away but in the second incident a security officer was able to give police the license plate number of the getaway vehicle and a description of the suspect.

No long after Monday's robbery police received a call of a suspicious person, matching the suspect's description, changing clothes in the parking lot of Elyria Plating.

Police say Kudlo left the getaway car walked to Dale's Market and Deli where he was arrested.

Kudlo was charged with two counts of robbery possession of criminal tools and obstructing justice. He is being held without bond in the Lorain County Jail.
