CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) and Senator Mark Kirk (R-IL) placed a friendly bet on the 2016 World Series between the Cleveland Indians and the Chicago Cubs:
"This has been an incredible year for the city of Cleveland," Portman stated. "The Cavs ended a long championship drought and now the Indians have the opportunity to do the same. I'm looking forward to celebrating an Indians World Series victory with a Goose Island beer."
"I look forward to enjoying a Great Lakes beer after the Cubs fly the W," said Senator Kirk.
Senator Portman will be wagering a case of Great Lakes Octoberfest beer from Cleveland's Great Lakes Brewing Company while Senator Kirk will wager a case of Illinois' Goose Island 312.
