Indians fans bring goats to Progressive Field

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland Indians fans hope to keep the curse on the Chicago Cubs. Tuesday morning fans brought goats to Progressive Field. The goats adorned signs with the words, "Murphy never forgets, billy goats have rights."

The Billy Goat curse started with the 1945 World Series at Wrigley Field. Wrigley officials kicked Billy and his goat, Murphy out of the stadium, prompting Billy to place a curse on the Cubs.

The Cubs have not won a World Series since 1908.
