Let's go Tribe! We are ready

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - It may have taken a back seat to the World Series, but it's half the reason downtown will be filled with fans Tuesday night.

The Cavs tip-off the regular season tonight at the "Q" in a match against the New York Knicks.

But it's more than just a season opener: the team will get rings and the championship banner will be put in the rafters.

Here's what you need to know:

---the pregame ceremony starts promptly at 7pm

---doors to the "Q" open at 5pm and fans are urged to be in their seats by 6:45pm

---the Cavs will raise the NBA Championship banner to the rafters and then present the 2016 Championship rings

All fans at the game will receive:

---a Cavs 2016-17 schedule magnet

---a black championship Cavs t-shirt

---a light-up bracelet

---a silicone band that will allow fans to virtually try on and snap photos as if they were wearing the championship  ring on their finger

If you don't have tickets to the game, you can watch across the street from the "Q" at the Free Concert & Cavs Watch Party.

"NBA on TNT Road Show" tips off at 3pm with  performances from The Cavalier Girls dance team, Scream Team and QStix drumline.

Wiz  Khalifa will also perform before the game starts

Food trucks will be available and thanks to LeBron James, Blue Bunny will give out free ice-cream.

The game starts at 7:30pm.
