Lofton wore No. 7 with the Indians and is part of Cleveland's Hall of Fame.
His 1995 American League Championship teammate Carlos Baerga will throw out the first ceremonial pitch of Game 2 of the World Series in Cleveland Oct. 26 at 8 p.m.
