Man carves Indians, Cavs, Believeland pumpkins

DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Mike Pickett is quite the pumpkin carver, and he showed off his unique skill at Jack Casino ahead of Game 1 of the World Series and the Cavs home opener.

Pickett runs Illuminated Carves, a local business which sells foam carved pumpkins of pop culture heroes, sports stars and more.

He began carving years ago to do something special for his daughter for her Oct. 26 birthday. The hobby became a business for the PGA golf professional, who has carvings featured at the Football Hall of Fame and who will be carving at the Cavs game on Saturday.

Pickett takes requests for special pumpkins and says he can carve just about anything that he can get a good picture of. Because the pumpkins are foam instead of fruit, they last forever.

You can watch Pickett carve a pumpkin likeness of LeBron James below.
