DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - It's starting to look like veteran QB Josh McCown will start for the Browns this week.
After a slew of injuries, rookie Cody Kessler has filled in for the past few weeks. But he was injured this past week against the Bengals.
McCown suffered a broken collar bone earlier in the season, but has practiced this week. Head coach Hue Jackson says it looks like he could be able to go on Sunday against the Jets.
"All signs are pointing in that direction," Jackson said. "He had another good practice today and worked hard. We are really trending that way right now."
Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
The Browns are still seeking their first win of the season.
