PARMA, OH (WOIO) - A recently-installed Parma School Board president has submitted her resignation, sources say.
Lynn Halloran submitted the resignation in writing this week after a regularly scheduled school board meeting.
She was sworn in two weeks ago after the resignation of Kathleen Petro at the Board of Education's special October meeting.
Parma City School officials were recently granted an extension by the state giving them until Nov. 1 to turn over a financial plan to the Ohio Dept. of Education. District administrators in Parma have been working to find a way to fix a $15 million gap in the budget.
