DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Thousands of Cleveland Indians fans filled Progressive Field on Friday night for a watch party during Game 3 of the World Series.
Doors opened at 7 p.m. and tickets cost just $5.
The ballpark estimates about 28,000 people were there to watch the game from the scoreboard. The ballpark was so full it looked like the game was taking place in Cleveland.
Concession stands were open and fans watched the game from the seats in the ballpark.
There will be two more watch parties over the weekend during the away games in Chicago. Saturday night is sold out, but you can still get tickets online for Sunday's watch party.
