Napoli on Game 5: "We did what we had to do here"

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Mike Napoli was back in the lineup in Game 5, and while he singled, advanced to second and represented the tying run in the 7th inning, the Indians never scored on Cubs closer Aroldis Chapman.

After the game, though, Napoli said the Tribe still did what they needed to do at Wrigley.

"We're in a good position still," he said. "We're up 3-2 going home. We did what we had to do here. We put ourselves in a position to win it in a crazy atmosphere. We're happy with what we did here. We're gonna get home and play in front of our family."

"We're gonna do the same thing we did," he added. "We're gonna try to play our game. It was a great baseball game tonight. They came out on top."

The Indians take on the Cubs in Game 6 at Progressive Field on Tuesday night.
