Shots fired into 3 Akron homes over weekend

AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

Akron police are investigating three separate shootings into homes that occurred over the weekend. 

The first shooting happened around 10 p.m. on Friday in the 200 block of East Archwood Ave. The resident said shots were fired at her house by four suspects dressed in all black with hoods covering their faces. The suspects fled on food northbound on Bellow St.

The second shooting occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Saturday in the 300 block of Lindenwood Ave. The resident said he was standing in the front yard when a dark colored SUV drove by and fired shots towards him.

The third shooting occurred shortly before 3 p.m. on Sunday in the 800 block of Raymond St. The resident said he heard glass breaking before noticing a bullet lying on his kitchen table.

No injuries were reported.

The incidents do not appear to be related.
