The Cleveland Indians return to Progressive Field Tuesday night to close out the World Series in a pivotal Game 6. The Indians accomplished a great feat in Chicago by taking 2 out of 3 at Wrigley Field.
Now the Tribe is back home. The Indians are 5-1 in the playoffs at home. The only loss coming against the Cubs in Game 2.
On the mound for Cleveland is a short-rested Josh Tomlin. However, he dominated the Cubs lineup once before.
"I know the atmosphere for this game is not the same, but it's still the same game," Tomlin said. "You can't go out there and try to win the game in the first inning. You have to go out there and take each pitch as it is."
Because of the American League rules the designated hitter is back in effect. The Indians will have Mike Napoli and Roberto Perez at their disposal.
First pitch is at 8:08 p.m.
