CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The Cleveland Indians might have had its worst game of the series, but Clevelanders are not ready to give up on the team. Die-hard Tribe fans are desperate for a championship. Many stayed through all nine innings and are ready to return tomorrow for Game 7 of the World Series.

The Chicago Cubs closed out a 9-3 victory over the Indians to force another game Wednesday night in Cleveland.

The Indians last won a title in 1948.

Fans carrying signs and flags for motivation and luck, adding November touches to their T-shirts and sporting their best outfits gathered outside Progressive Field long before the 8:08 p.m. start time.

Though it didn't happen, thousands of people crowded downtown for the festivities and the chance to see the Indians win the first World Series title since 1948.

There are four pallets of programs bagged and ready to sell in Gateway Plaza for 2016 souvenirs.
