CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Despite a Game 6 loss, Terry Francona is still optimistic about the Indians' chances to win the World Series.
"Tonight was a tough night," he said after the game. "I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's a really important game tomorrow. We'll be really excited to play. You learn from your mistakes and then move on quickly, and we'll do that."
Francona heads into the game with Indians ace Corey Kluber, who will be pitching on short rest after leading the Indians to victory in Games 1 and 4. The Cubs will start Kyle Hendricks.
"That's a good feeling," Francona said. "It's Game 7 and you've got two, really, really good pitchers. It'll be exciting."
"We're gonna give everything we have," he added. "I can't imagine a better group of guys to go through something like this with. We're looking forward to it already."
