Rajai Davis: World Series loss is 'tough to put into words'

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Rajai Davis did all he could do to keep the Indians title hopes alive in Game 7. He tied the game at 6 with a dramatic 8th inning home run, and drove in another run in the 10th, but, unfortunately, the team still fell 8-7 to the Chicago Cubs.

"It's really tough to put into words," Davis said of the loss. "You get down early and it's like, you get down more, it's like, are we gonna come back? And then when you score a couple runs its breathes new life into us."

"To tie it up in the eighth inning, that was just unbelievable, beyond my wildest dreams," he said. "It was obviously unfortunate we couldn't do the whole thing and win it all but that was a great, great fight by our guys. We have a lot of good players in here. Never give up."
