The Cleveland Indians came pretty close to a World Series win this season, despite injuries to numerous key members of their starting rotation. The season proved just how good all of the Indians players can be, and with a hopefully healthy team in 2017, the team could definitely be contenders for another World Series run.
Luckily, many of the team's key players are already locked in for 2017. Carlos Santana was picked up for a $12 million club option on Thursday, according to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports, and, according to a Tweet from the Indians, many of the other important players are set to return as well.
