DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Police investigated a report of a suspicious package near the Wolstein Center on Friday, where a campaign concert featuring Jay Z was set to take place.
Carnegie was closed in both directions from East 22nd to East 18th during the investigation. Emergency crews and bomb squad vehicles were called to the scene.
People were held outside the building around 6:45 p.m., but were eventually allowed inside. Those inside at the time of the report were told to stay put.
The concert, in support of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, went on as planned.
