CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Organizers of "A Day Without a Woman" are encouraging women to wear red Wednesday. The color is said to signify love and sacrifice.

Wednesday's event, which coincides with the U.N.-designated International Women's Day, is the first major action since the nationwide marches held the day after President Donald Trump's inauguration that drew millions of women into the streets in protest against misogyny, inequality and oppression.

Are you wearing red today to show your support? We'd love to see your photos and short videos.

See it, Snap it, Send it to us at pics@cleveland19.com (save this address in your cell phone), tweet it to us at @cleveland19news #wearingred or just upload them to our Facebook page.

You will be featured on Cleveland19.com and you might even catch a few airing on our news throughout the day.
