CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Detectives with the Cleveland Police Department are currently investigating the suspicious death of a 2-year-old.

Norma Caraballo, the 2-year-old boy's grandmother, has been charged with endangering children, a second-degree felony. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.

The little boy, Noah Harvey, was found unresponsive in his crib at his home at West 20th Street on Monday, March 27. Police said Methadone was found in his system. Family members rushed him to MetroHealth Medical Center. He died March 28.

Noah's mom said the grandma is a recovering heroin addict and takes Methadone daily. The grandmother watched Noah when his mother was at work.

Officials are waiting for a cause of death ruling from the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office.
