CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Marlon Pames knew when he returned to his home he had been burglarized.
Pames said whoever ransacked his house, took bags he didn't even have a chance to unpack and stole more than $5,000 in electronics.
The burglary happened within 48 hours of him returning back to his home in Cleveland. But the meaning of the items taken from him go far beyond their cash value like a necklace his grandma gave him before she passed away.
"We went to a family function Tuesday night and came home to find the back window smashed in and the air conditioning unit on the ground," said Pames.
Cleveland police officers say they are working on this investigation.
