Browns to host 2017 Draft Tailgate party

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The Cleveland Browns announced that they will host a tailgate party for the first round of 2017 NFL Draft.

According to a press release from the Browns, multiple screens will be set up in the Muni Lot, which will show the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft on April 27. Along with the television screens, a number of food trucks and beverage portables will be on hand.

Current players and alumni, including Hanford Dixon and Dan Fike, will be in attendance to celebrate the Browns' picks during the draft. Visitors will have the chance to meet current and previous Browns players, mascots, and more from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

The event in the Muni Lot, located at 1500 South Marginal Road, begins at 6:00 P.M. and last through 11:00 P.M. The gates for the public open at 5:30 P.M. Vehicle access begins at 4:00 P.M. Approximately 650 parking spots will be available in the Muni Lot, so attendants are encouraged to pack RVs and cars with as much gear as can fit so the environment replicates a game day atmosphere.

Although the event is free of charge, registration is required. Pre-registration for season ticket holders begin Tuesday, April 4 at 10:00 A.M. General admission registration opens on Thursday, April 6, 10:00 A.M.

The Cleveland Browns Pro Shop will be open at 11:00 A.M. for fans to gear up before the draft. Also, a portable Pro Shop will be set up at the tailgate party.
