Blown transformer possibly to blame for Cuyahoga County power outages

DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Storms hit northeast Ohio on Thursday, but that's not why power went out in some Cuyahoga County neighborhoods around 9 p.m.

Officials said a blown transformer may be to blame for the outage.

Beachwood, Cleveland Heights, South Euclid, and University Heights were a few of the affected cities.
