CLEVELAND (AP) - Three teenagers have been charged in a drive-by shooting that wounded two children at a Cleveland home last October.
Prosecutors allege the teens were targeting members of a rival gang. Police say a 3-year-old girl was shot in the head as she sat on her mother's lap outside a home, and a 9-year-old girl was shot in the back.
Prosecutors say a grand jury indicted an 18-year-old man on charges of attempted murder, felonious assault and participating in a criminal gang.
Two younger defendants who were 16 when the shooting occurred face similar charges in juvenile court. Prosecutors are seeking to have those cases moved to adult court.
All three could face the possibility of spending life in prison if they're convicted.
